June 1998 marks the inception of Globeflight as a company under the helm of Eddie Meyer,whose experience and passion combined with expert knowledge in the courier industry, has been inculcated into the service-driven culture of our daily operations.
The combination of pure drive, an insatiable obsession to offer real service in South Africa, and a very loyal and committed team under Eddie’s leadership, are what has shaped this company to what it is today.
Today Globeflight is a 100% private owned company whose shareholders manage the business. Globeflight is happy to have Eddie Meyer as our Managing Director, with Richard Mooa, Thinus van der Walt, Roshan Bisaal and Gareth Watkins-Neethling co-leading the way.

We are regulated through ICASA’s jurisdiction over the South African Post Office. We are also 100% SARS (South African Revenue Service) compliant and up to date with all customs procedures
We hold accreditation for ISO 9001:2008, and are also P108 compliant with the CAA (Civil Aircraft Association).
Globeflight are also proud members of the SAEPA (South African Express Parcel Association). We are in good standing with the WCA (World Cargo Association) and NBCRFLI (National Bargaining Council for Road Freight and Logistics Industry).
